This week in the shop training my team of learners to make memory bears. They both learn these skills and get paid .. and once they have enough experience they will launch their own Etsy stores!!!

While I haven't just started making these... new is I started partnering with a young woman who has special needs. She does the first half and I jump in to complete them. The first job she has ever tried. I think she's wonderful.

This time of year I transition from doing custom garments and altering clothing to making Holiday gifts like these memory pillows.... These are part of a huge batch that I'm prepping to finish tomorrow.

Today feels like the shop has finally started Christmas custom sewing in earnest...these are pretty low tech and folks are sending the first blanket or newborn clothes to make them. So fun

First day here, this is what I make, oh and a slew of other sewn things on a spectrum from completely useless to the most necessary🙂
