Oh and the tie is just like a small amount of silk i bought from mood sewn up! Overall I’d rate this costume a 9/10, i loved wearing it, it was easy/fun to make (except the vest pattern) and I love how I look in it. Its not the most recognizable costume from ofmd but still fun!

The vest was the most stubborn part bc all i had for a pattern was this dumb joker one that was quite literally the worst pattern to alter.. But i did it! The pockets are just flaps & the buttons function but its held close by snaps. I also made a mini poster of hers to give out to people😌

For the skirt I have no pictures lol i just like fork pleated it and gave it pockets and kept the front flat idk it sort of just came together?? Its very heavy but it twirls nicely! (Keep in mind this costume was made in like 2.5 days and that includes buying the fabric)

For the shirt I used McCalls M8131, view C. I had bought literally justttttt enough to make the shirt, and it shohld be noted its actually like a crop top its not as long as the normal pattern calls for.

For fabric I went to Mood in dtla and joann. the skirt is a wool suiting and the shirt is a lt. wt. cotton from mood. The vest and lining are from joann, i wanted a really artsy colorful lining to match mary’s personality and love of art (even tho really im the only one that would see it)
