Kids would clearly still get out onto the regular internet, but they'd either make complete asses of themselves immediately and get banned from everything or learn to be savvy and avoid detection and thus learn not to fall into common internet pitfalls

Also I've been saying this for years at this point but so many problems with kids on the internet would be solved by bringing back kids' portals and segregating them to that section of the internet

This random ass hoverbike/Afterburner-like that managed to get into my childhood memories because I happened to find a random copy at a pawn shop

Finally I can buy this for my uncle (my aunt's husband) for his angry Alzheimer's dad to distract him

No big ass corporations to get in the way, barely any rules, some rando could just make something that ends up being a massive inspiration for the entire industry decades down the line
