He seems to brush it off. I don’t think George Carlin would’ve gotten much television coverage as a stand-up comedian, but he definitely would’ve had new material to add to his comedy set. It’s easy to believe that our heroes would be bigger today than they actually were.

What do you mean by fighting against the people? There’s not much fighting going on. I see the normal function of government that’s been happening for the last two decades. POTUS implements an executive order, opposition sues and SCOTUS determines if it’s constitutional or not. Rinse and repeat.

Why would anyone ban a party that’s essentially centered around them? It’s not like the public votes on the nominees—it’s mostly friends nominating each other for an award that doesn’t hold much real value.

It’s a service that self funded and not funded by taxpayers. Seems like the solution would be for people to write and send more letters. I guess we have to use it in order to keep it.
