Re Ultraschall: I found Robert HP Platz’s “Distancing…” to be particularly compelling. It was helpful having such a stellar soloist in Caroline Widmann, as well as various DSO principals performing at a “distance.”

It’s a truly amazing privilege to play Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” with Iván Fischer and Kirill Gerstein. The concerts are scheduled for tonight and Sunday afternoon with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin.
