I'm not asking for anything. I'm just telling you "fascism" isn't my problem

I have semantic cessation from seeing that word, "fascism" so often. I think more specific critiques would be effective instead

that space is an ideal to aspire to. It's good to understand its limits, but I prefer the company of those who seek it rather than people who say everything is tribal and that's as good as it gets

In the coming chaos, restraint will be key. There will be a time for action, but premature action will be more damaging than doing nothing

It's funny, 10 years ago I considered centrism to be essentially intellectual cowardice/laziness in refusing to commit to an ideal.

Now I consider centrism to be heterodox thinking where you're willing to go beyond partisan echo chambers.

It's hard to participate in this online space without being open, honest and vulnerable, so there can be unhealthy pressure. Maybe this is a time to focus on your offline friends
