How to think about games as a way of approaching AGI,... maybe?
As part of a European networking grant, I am visiting QMul in London. Not having been in the UK for some time feels weird but London has not changed much. The workshop is part of the www.gametable.network, if you are interested in boardgame research it might be worth looking into more.

Met yesterday for a colleagues project on "ai, disability and work", it is interesting to see what biases current ai gpt models have.

Some further architectural highlights on my way back home after an interesting few days meeting people from all over europa
Interesting first keynote dealing with 3 key challenges of our time: nuclear war, climate change and autonomous ai.
I personally agree with 2 of those as serious problems. The remaining one has interesting properties where I think the issues are different from the common assumption.

Our recent article on Sonic Dancer about movement/dance and generative audio with a focus on the making process just arrived today as a beautiful 4 page print in the interaction design magazine. dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/... am super happy with how the article looks :) 🧪

Winter in Göteborg is super nice, after over 10 years of living in the UK without strong seasons I am again reminded by the beauty of it

Spent some time on the weekend walking besides reading a PhD thesis I am examining soon. Weird how the New Year started but my internal calendar resets the year for me in 2 weeks due to marking ;) Anyhow, Sweden has some amazing weather in contrast to winters in the UK.
