I charge at home on 110 outlet, too, except on the rare occasions when I take road trips. Takes some planning but there are several charging sta networks with good phone apps. And more stations now than 3 yrs ago when I got my first EV. Still some charging deserts,so depends where you live.

People don't realize that EVs have essentially no maintenance except getting tires rotated occasionally and keeping the wipe fluid filled. I'm on my second Hyundai Ioniq5. Great car. Nice to drive, comfortable seating--even in back. Cargo space and size similar to Subaru Forester and no pumping gas

That seems very strange. They should last 20-30 years with only minor loss of efficiency.
