PS - Due to the wonderful laws of the state I now live in, I can't *actually* access Bluesky except through the app I use to crosspost on multiple social platforms. That means I can't see your replies without a VPN, which is on my to-do list. But I want you to know that I appreciate your good vibes.

Even as SGF adapts to these realities, you’ll always be priority #1. My commitment is to keep you supported and taken care of, now and going forward.

Thank you for everything—truly.

Until then, you can count on me to keep doing what I’ve always done: supporting the community and making sure customers are taken care of -- mostly my making monkey jokes and buttons.

None of this is easy. But it’s the right move right now.

This is a transition, not an ending.
If the financial picture improves and SGF can return to stable footing, I’ll always be willing to put in the effort required to support the community's needs.

4) New developments, releases, and fulfillment times may slow down. But the fulfillment estimates on the website will always be accurate. And I will always communicate if I ever expect to miss them.

3) Some product lines will be scaled back so I can refocus. This starts with an immediate discontinuation of the SGF Faust. It's a hard decision, but simplification is necessary.

2) Future customers can rest assured that they’ll be taken care of too. I will continue to be honest and transparent about every order. You should never hesitate to reach out with any concerns.

Here’s what this means in practice all:
1) Support for all customers will remain unchanged. If you’ve placed an order, it will be fulfilled and supported—no exceptions.

While I’ve always been the sole employee of SGF, I haven’t been alone.
I’ve had the help of friends, family, and many of FGC members who’ve become fast friends along the way. I can’t possibly name every name, but I deeply appreciate everything they continue to give to this crazy idea I had.

Whether you bought a controller, shared a kind word, cracked a dumb joke online, or gave me a hug at an event—you’ve made this more than a company. You’ve made it a community.
For that, I can’t thank you all enough.

It will continue evolving to fit the community’s needs. SGF is the monkey finding the new branch to climb to right now, and it might be hard, but it's not going to fall from the tree.

Growing and supporting the SGFam has been the single biggest success of my life. And I mean that.

To do right by that legacy, I need to prioritize my own financial stability and mental wellbeing, at least for now, which means finding full-time employment again.

However, SGF is not disappearing.

In many ways—intentionally or not—SGF has been a vehicle for transferring my life savings into a community I love. And honestly, I am proud of that. It's a legacy worth celebrating.

SGF isn't going away, but it will change.

SGF has never made a penny in profit. Instead, it has given away hundreds of thousands in cash and product to FGC community efforts, locals, school eSports programs, and even charities like The Trevor Project, United24, and The Jane Goodall Institution.

I want to share some important updates about SGF Devices and where things are headed.

In short: I need to take a step back. Life has been throwing curveballs—significant mental health challenges, the deteriorating financial health of the business, and the broader economic climate all play a part.
