#13 - Racism, slavery, apartheid, the holocaust, colonial violence…All very bad. Those affect everyone. When bad things mostly affect women (genital mutilation, marital rape, non-agency…) why don’t we care? Where’s the ICC when it comes to those crimes against humanity?

#12 - They just don’t make things like they used to. Maybe they should? Over time, we’ve had to replace so many things in our house. New things are shinier - but they just don’t last. Planned obsolescence? So much waste. More than is necessary - or sustainable.

#5 - I’m always surprised that people think it’s gross to drink breastmilk. So drinking cow or goat milk is fine, but human milk is yucky? We’re very random about animals. We eat pigs and cows - but not cats and dogs! Where I live, anyway.

I’m really worried. The world has always been rife with atrocity. But at least it seemed like we condemned the worst of them. Not anymore? The last thing we need are more sons (and daughters now too!) dying on battlefields or in camps, crying out for their mothers with their dying breath.
