3/3– Tl;dr There is no way in trump’s fascist lens for it to be anything other than domination and humiliation of a scapegoat and there is no “enough” where suddenly that lens will moderate on perceived “others.” Also, Flynn, Stone, Manafort all pardoned— any maga outrage is the *biggest* eye-roll.

I’m glad he did! There is no parity with maga and sacrificing his son won’t do anything to inspire moral behavior on their end. I’m reading Jason Stanley’s “How Fascism Works” (trump is a fascist) and there are two parts that seem to really fit: “Corruption, to the fascist politician, is really—“ /1

I’m reading Heather Cox Richardson’s book, Democracy Awakening, and she’s walking readers through all of this— pretty wild how long this has all been going on (and also not wild at all 🫠).
