I fully agree that punditry is a disease plaguing the US.. whole thing is based on clicks 🖱️🖱️🖱️Fomented opinions in our sphere and on opposing sides, because that means disagreement and more clicks.. with more wealth going to people behind the curtain! The more argumentative and intolerant.. $$$$$
The way the media played Both Sides on climate change is the model. 97% of peer-reviewed studies confirmed anthropogenic climate change, but the media would always have on one person who denied it and one who represented that overwhelming consensus. What they’d never do is report the actual science.
This is what happens when you ask me to indulge your false equivalencies about the Trump tariffs.
