I'm only two hours into it but Kingdoms of the Dump has been excellent so far and it's exactly why I want in an indie RPG: A clear love for the genre that doesn't over-emphasize nostalgia. It has so much personality.

Also always beware of fandom "leaders", self-proclaimed or otherwise.

Breaking a social media addiction is hard.

I havent been as active in RPG Maker communities in recent years but it was getting increasingly pro-AI on the whole last i checked. Maybe it's for the best that I dipped out.
