I read a news article online that centrist Democrats are afraid to vote for a CR that would not protect the ACA or Medicaid. They fear this will outrage their "liberal" base.
Good. Because it will. Anyone who votes to gut Medicaid and ACA subsidies is despicable and deserves a primary challenge.
