President Biden pardoned Marcus Garvey. Garvey was considered by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, “the first man, on a mass scale and level” to give millions of Black people “a sense of dignity and destiny.” We needed this pardon as reminder of our pride, dignity, and destiny as Africana people. ✊🏾

I have a college freshman this year and learned what a “book bundle” is for the first time. It sells a perception of convenience and an answer to scarcity, but neglects the reality of how much more students pay and how unfriendly it is to opt-out and still get the books a student needs.
