An Illithid from the RPG game Baldur’s Gate 3 painted by artist Shade of Stars, entitled 'Emperor Throne'. The humanoid figure's face, though partly obscured under a long dark hood, is elongated and loosely resembles a squid (in that the lower part of the face comprises of four long tentacles that trail down into his lap and over his left hand that is resting on the arm of large wooden throne with intricate swirling carvings in it. The Illithid is sitting on the throne, left leg casually crossed over right , and he is looking at us with piercing purple eyes that almost glow. He is raising a golden goblet in his left hand. Both of his hands have three long fingers and a thumb, the nails of which are long, dark and finish in claw like points. The clothing on the Illithid is dark browny green suede or leather, with fine gold patterning, possibly embroidered on the top half. The Throne is up against a large grey stone wall that's in the background left.

This is a painting entitled 'Emperor with Us' by the artist 'Shade of Stars'. Two humanoid figures that are Illithids from the RPG game Baldur's Gate 3. Illithids have two arms and two legs but their skin tends to be a pale pinky grey, their heads are elongated with a slight rounded point at top back. On either side of the head, where ear would be, they have an exposed pink fleshy membrane. They have prominent brows and their eyes are piercing and tend to almost glow. The lower part of their face is dominated by four long prehensile tentacles making their head resemble a squid. They have three fingers and a thumb on each had and the nails are long, dark and drawn into a claw like point.

The male Illithid, The Emperor, in the picture is sitting on an ornately carved wooden throne with regal red crushed velvet cushioning.
He is wearing impressive spiky armour that's bloody red with grey ridges and fans out behind their head and shoulders. In his lap he is cradling a creature known as an Intellect Devourer, a brain shaped creature with narrow tentacles protruding from it, a line of spikes down its 'back' and it has four stumpy legs and clawed feet.

Standing to The Emperor's left is a female illithid, who is leaning against the throne and affectionately has one of her tentacles draped over part of The Emperor's armour. She is reaching towards the Intellect Devourer.

Behind the throne is a curtain drawn to the left. It's dark green purple and has intricate patterning on it. The curtain in part covers a grey stone wall that dominates the background in the right of the picture.

This is a painting entitled 'Tav and The Emperor' by the artist 'Shade of Stars'. Two humanoid figures dominate the scene. Tav, the one on the left ,is an ashen-skinned person with pointed ears and long blond hair that flows past their broad shoulders. They are wearing a blue short sleeved 'v' necked top that buttons up, under which is a white long-sleeved top. Their trousers are dark.

The figure on the right, The Emperor, is an Illithid from the RPG game Baldur's Gate 3. Illithids have two arms and two legs but their skin tends to be a pale pinky grey, their heads are elongated with a slight rounded point at top back. The pair are sitting on a simple wooden bench holding hands. The Emperor is also caressing the face of Tav with two of his long tentacles. To the left of the bench, protruding from the stoney ground are columns of translucent crystals.

In the background is a starry sky with low cloud on the horizon. The sky warmed slightly by what could be a sunset in the left of the picture. However, directly in front of this golden light is a transparent sphere, much like a large bubble, in which a humanoid figure is suspended and held captive by pinks bolts of electrical energy that bind the figure's wrists. The bubble is in the gaping mouth of a skull that has rows of pointed teeth.
