ms saga- a new dawn on ps2. jrpg gundam game. if you put it down a while, it's easy to forget what you're supposed to do though. the persona 3/4 remakes are better than the original ps2 ones. 4 is getting a new remake here soon. sakura wars-so long my love. grid based tactics/vn on ps2

snowboarding game ssx tricky on ps2, jrpg dark cloud 2 on ps2, grid based tactics game disgaea 2 on ps2. dot hack g.u. trilogy on ps2 jrpg. any ps 1/2 final fantasy, jrpgs. i recommend X on ps2. jrpgs legend of legaia 1 on ps1 and 2 on ps2. monster rancher 1 and 2 on ps2 or dx remakes on switch

digimon world 1,2,3 on ps1. 4 is terrible imo. also jrpgs, 2 being a mystery dungeon type. digimon world data squad for ps2. i have many retro jrpgs to recommend if you couldn't tell. if you have a modern xbox, you can get the original xbox game gladius, a grid based tactics game in ancient rome

if you havn't already, jak and daxter is a great ps2 3d platformer. jak 2 causes most people to rage, and jak 3 is often cited as the best. there's also the wild arms jrpg series on ps1/2, wa3 is my fav

the legend of dragoon. it's an old 4 disk ps1 jrpg. like paper mario it has action commands, but only when attacking. better attacks need more button presses. hd port exists on ps4/5
