If we were truly a Christian nation, we would be feeding the hungry, healing the sick, clothing and housing the homeless, and welcoming the stranger. Yet all of those things keep getting voted down by the supposed “Christian” party. “Jesus helps those who help themselves.” Chapter and verse please?

Boys also need to know how to take care of babies. And cook. And clean. Because that’s what’s expected of a marriage partner. Home Ec isn’t important because it teaches girls that they should want to be mothers, it’s important because it helps close a necessary life skill gap for all students.

Not only do those workers NEED them, their employers ENCOURAGE it. Pretty sure the poor would prefer a living, thriving wage instead of jumping through all the hoops. Americans are not subsidizing the poor’s lifestyles they’re subsidizing the rich’s.

Even if this was about drugs, supply location doesn’t matter when the demand is so high. Comprehensive healthcare Americans can afford that includes mental health and addiction treatment would do more for the war on drugs than starting international conflict to distract from the Epstein files.
