I should note, I love PC2, and despite my harsh tone, this is meant to be constructive criticism.
Many changes are unnecessary, annoying, and didn't accomplish what they were intended to. I just feel like the devs focus on ambition too much, and forget the fundamentals of the game. Best wishes!

Blade got too frustrated with balancing PCX so he just called it. I get it, I imagine this stupid blue rodent is an annoyance to balance, but really?? His old version was so much more fun, it just needed some minor value changes to make him less annoying! A rework was NOT needed!

Pillars map rework, similarly, sucks too.
Why add a second layer?? This map was too polarized because certain monsters thrived and others starved, what does this fix? Why are the devs obsessed with spring mechanics?
This just makes the map too annoying and monsters have to spring back and forth!

The next map, gobble run, is also bad.
The objectives are fine, but the pellets desperately need audio removed and visual effect toned down since it inhibits hearing/sight. The map is basically one large box full of insanely long hallways and almost no corners. No fun gameplay, only running.

Not to mention the various ramps and ledges allows survivors to easily find spots the monster literally *cannot get to*. There are several spots the monster can't fit on or climb up!
Imagine the Eclipse map, but with 4 layers of elevations, 10x ramps, janky boosts, and several camping ledges.

Speaking of My World, the new map. It's the worst one so far.
A heavily horizontal-based game suddenly gets a map emphasizing ramps, springs, and ledges.
The monster is constantly fighting the janky map to keep up with survivors. Survivors can spam springs as awkward movement for the monster.

Not to mention his new Final Act is such bad game design from every fundamental standpoint imaginable. All of the monster's work up until that point is tossed into an all-or-nothing chase, where the survivor instantly wins or dies.
Miss one spring or get caught on one odd corner, lose.

Ohhh, that makes sense!

I always liked Eclipse so I wondered why it was hated, I guess this answers my question, thx!
