I was able to get down, connect and disconnect retro consoles yesterday with little pain.
All I have to do today is survive work and hope to not hurt myself this Friday 🙃

I hooked up my N64 and tested out my last "new" game, Castlevania 64. @apesnake3.bsky.social must be rubbing off on me, cause I didn't hate what I played, maybe it gets god awful later?

Played a bit of Captain America and The Avengers.
This beat 'em up game is pretty bad. The hitboxes are terrible with most enemies, some sections don't have much going on, and it feels pointless to do a punching combo since enemies recover too quickly for you to finish it.

Decided to quickly check out Digimon World 3 while I was at it.
It changes back to on-foot exploration like 1, with a new style that reminds me of Mega Man Battle Network.
The story seems to be Pokémon-esque since the goal is that you have to become World Champion and beat certain tamers.

New news: My cat, Noelle got high off of Icy Hot cream.
I put some on my back to see if it would help and before I could wash my hands, Noelle jumped on my lap, sniffed my hand then licked it twice.
In a matter of moments, she was rolling in my lap, grabbed my arms and biting them.

My back has entered the annoying pain stage. It doesn't hurt much, just a constant light pain, which makes it irritating to sleep or sit down.

It just hit me that No Man's Sky has been out and continuously been worked on for 9 years now. If I wasn't swamped by other games, I'd give it another go.

We built a castle to live in (It has 2 doors! WOW!)
I can finally wear pirate clothes, and I got a legally distinct purple dragon, Pyro, to wander on the farm. (Please, don't come after us, Microsoft, we only found him 🥺)

1st day back to work as a 37 year old and I pulled something in my lower back. For the last 3 hours, I slowly and painfully got all my work done so I could leave early.

Due to my managers constant nagging, I started playing FFXVI. Apparently, I am in for a good time.
