Working on a gorgon, so drew some snake ideas. I'll probably ink them up for fun.

3 sketches in pencil: a cooked snake, a spitting snake, a long wet forked tongue.

Snake tongues aren't wet like that. It's just good for showing motion and being creepy.

For a while I’ve been thinking GenAi will drive many artists to rethink their work & style.

The more realistic machine repro becomes the more expressionistic & distorted my art. Doing things badly* becomes part of the concept because it’s antithetical to what LLMs produce.

Making bad art is an art.
While these are test prints, they're also an intentional homage to an 80s fanzine is was/am stupid for.
If they'd turned out perfect, I'd have been disappointed.

Going through a rough patch, mentally.
Still sketching and doing pay work, but struggling to complete anything even remotely personal.

I want to do some more screen printing, I enjoyed my 1st round. Even there I feel compelled to do less of what I’d like & more towards something that can sell.

Wednesd4y’s party grew out of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I made a half dozen flyer variations for KKBB, over the years.

Original had the centered header at top but I realized the dimensions were wrong. The easiest fix was changing the logo.
