But in her senior year all of that came crashing down. A student tried to commit suicide, a teacher confessed to causing it, and the school was complicit in covering it up. Now the principal has tasked her with finding the truth about the group behind the teacher’s change of heart—the mysterious Phantom Thieves. Makoto wants to do the right thing, but she doesn't know what that is anymore. What she does suspect is that the newest transfer student at Shujin—a delinquent with a criminal record, troubler maker, a guy pretending to be a girl—seems to be at the center of it all. The more Makoto learns about them, the more fascinated she becomes. Their name? Ren Amimiya.

Think the last time I drew her dancing outfit was in 2022 for her bday🎂 Here's a Makoto in that one style I used for my OC Phinn a little bit back. It's like a cover but also a playing card, idk how to explain it lol. The "Annual Queen Cycle" is a part of a self imposed challenge/contract in which i at least have to draw two Makotos every year, and/or more recently, a Xenoblade Nia as well😎 I started this challenge back in 2021 after my first Makoto drawing, check the quote post for that its in there somewhere, and used it as fuel to continue improving. Onwards and upwards💯💯
