Deep in the gardens of Aeriados, the sky isles, is the floating Shrine of the Skies, where the astral angels reside. It is here that the winged denizens come to pray and bring offerings to the astral bodies.

This top-down battlemap displays the entrance to a huge marble building decorated with banners and statues floating over water. Smaller circular floating islands surrounded by plants compose around the big island. The bottom part has a green island with a marble path surrounded by greenery. A marble bridge decorated with banners connects the two bottom green isles allowing for a water passage to go in between. Two little buildings are next to the bridge in small bodies of water that fall into the main water passage.

Once a year, the citizens of Brightborough join in for a festival that attracts people from the whole county. Many enjoy the pie eating, the stage, or even the famous hog racing. Some decide to swim on the lake, and this year, an obstacle course has been assembled!

Shae's Fantasy map of Voramar. Shae is present at the corner. Two rivers converge into a lake in the lower center of the map. The lower part has a small mountainside with ruins. The center is an island with the old city, layered in multiple floors, the buildings become more spaced and bigger as they go up. Further up there are two more islands, one with a fairly spaced and bigger buildings, and another one with the city castle. They are connected through bridges. The Right side is the natural evolution of the city, with the harbor and the elven city merging. The outer layer is farmland ultimately limited by a moat and a wall. The left side is an artifical extension of the city with the magic district, a newly built harbor and a saturated use of the land with a more efficient distribution using canals. The lower left side compresses the newly designed farmlands, with more linear borders. The map is framed and decorated with ropes and anchors and the neighbourhoods and main locations are labeled.

I lost the last two recordings 😅but >progress update< !

I am almost done with this map!

With 30 hours in, the map is looking fairly done!
Next steps: framing, labeling, and maybe some small changes here and there.

This week, we have a new map! I made it a couple of months ago for a one-shot we never played.

This is the "Shrine of the Sakura Kingdom". It holds a relic that can turn the tides of the ongoing war. But how will you convince the spirits to let you take it?

This map is one part of a series of drawings to complete a whole "continent". With each region I learned so much that it feels like I should start over...

For reference, I'm sharing the "continent" and the first map of the series I did in 2018.

By far the map that gets me most complients IRL, "The Dragon isles" or dark islands as the commonfolk refer to them were once called "Oustovern" the land of Storms and Dragons.

This catacombs map was shared in a reddit post and many people used it in their campaigns. Simple but efective!
