Making your airforce rely totally on jets made and maintained by the only country in the world that has openly threatened your sovereignty, is not only bad strategy but also outrightly stupid.

If the founder and CEO of a Chinese auto maker was working hand in glove with the Chinese President Xi Jinping, we would classify that auto maker as “state sponsored” and banned its vehicles.
But such influence of a private company in government affairs never happens in the US?
