It's reassuring to hear that someone with such powerful understanding of anatomy still uses the "until it looks right" method.
To be fair, on a deeper level, getting the nitty gritty of anatomy "correct" is also naturally opposed to the idea of stylizing it. Kind of like how impressionism works.
