Isn’t the first rule of knitting club not to tell anyone about knitting club?

Not really correct. What they are pitching are the words “affordable and responsible”. There is no evidence that they have any concrete plans for how to do that.

Seems to miss the point that when you accept lies in one sphere, they become more acceptable in all. It is never just harmless or funny.

I don’t get how she thinks it is better to say she lied about it. Seems like such a crazy thing to lie about and not sure how that is meant to build trust with voters.

It’s not me, it’s you…

It is so bizarre. Littleproud banging on about policies they “secured” from the Libs?! As if that means something. Rather than just a wish list to run with in last election - where they were collectively moved significantly further away from ever being something.

As long as it isn’t delayed until the release of Winds of Winter…

Don’t understand your comment. How is taxing actual earnings from super above $3 million akin to taxing someone on money they may or may not ever earn?
May 15, 2025 at 6:23 AM
But that could only be because they earn so much more than everyone else. Seems like it would be a long way to go before they decided it was all too much and gave all their money away?

Thanks for this graph. Fascinating to see it mapped over a longer time period. And surprising too - I would have said Labor trending down much more significantly before I saw this. Seems like the blue line is the one that is on a steady path…

And of course it is in the cross benches interests to do so and make it work.

Doesn’t it depend on the extent to which there are local US substitutes? To the extent there are, Americans can switch to those local suppliers to avoid the cost. However presumably for the majority of items there is no immediate substitute and it will take some time for any to be developed?

Is MAGA well known for its love of EVs…?

Yep - completely crazy.

It is very expensive. We recently renewed for a trip to Malaysia for our family of 5 and when you add on extra cost for expedited processing (admittedly our fault for waiting to the last minute) it was quite eye watering.

I had to turn it off when he started moaning about not moaning.

I played this for hours as a kid. Sometimes you could get on a roll and hit a lot of straight boundaries.

I had forgotten this song existed.

This was such an original take. Really enjoyed it. Reminded me of some of my Elden Ring play throughs - learning the sequence of events required to get through a particular area.
December 13, 2024 at 5:23 AM
Exactly - sometimes you get sick of the constant conflict and posts where the sole purpose is to try to trigger as many people as possible. Bizarre that some think we should not be able to opt out of that. Let them go yell at the void for a while.

Real sense team is on a downward phase. Bowlers still world class. But a number of older batsmen on the decline. Going to be difficult to manage transition - Smith, Labuschagne and Khawaja (although Khawaja hasn’t done too much wrong, he is the oldest I think) could all go at about the same time.
