Wouldn’t that be a sensible and live-saving consideration… Here our PHO shrugged at mask wearing as a concept as she spouted racist-adjacent noises about us not being a culture who masks… We will likely get a “mask” mandate after our hospitals are overwhelmed and we lose a few kids…

It’s almost as if our elected/appointed officials haven gotten past the “wash your hands and cough into your sleeves” education level. Even our HCW don’t seem to be learning from their family/friends/peer group being impacted by the various viruses… FFS people pls mask and vax!

Just goes to show that preventing sexually transmitted diseases has a better PR team than covid does. Health officials right from the WHO to the local levels have dropped the ball in regards to even be willing to take airborne transmission of all viruses seriously…

Public health and businesses that need maskless faces/bums in seats to carry on seem to have found a media that was willing to overlook the need to keep people masking…and let’s face it, we consumers don’t really want to change our lifestyles over some pesky virus… My family is a rare masking one.
