One of my PCs recently received the best gift for her (forgiveness from a loved one), so we'll go with another, for whom the best gift would be the removal of the effects of evil magic for herself and her loved ones.
She had good reasons for that belief, though! So finding out she was wrong (which happens VERY rarely, just ask her) made it even better.
