I don't understand your point here. It has been pointed out repeatedly that most people currently can't just choose to go to a specialist, so not being able to under UHC is not a change for them and so it is not some negative that needs to be adressed.

The jailing and harassment of many thousands of people because of the color of their skin. Measles. It would be great to live in a world where we had the option of voting for someone who perfectly fits our ideals. But we don't, so instead we have to vote for the best/least bad option at the time.

The choice is between the two people who are actually running. And as the other individual said, not voting doesn't mean you aren't complicit. But not voting for Kamala does mean you supported sending hundreds of people to be tortured in El Salvador. The murder of over 100 people on boats.

Your arguement is foolish from the start. "One position says: vote for the politics you actually support. The other says: voting for what you believe is immoral when there’s a lesser evil available." That is describing a world that doesn't exist. The choice isn't between your ideal candidate or not.

I just read your comment about blocking right wing, anti Trans accounts, so it seems like you should get it, as what are anti Trans accounts doing but going after acceptable targets according to their group? Their group is toxic and so their targets are not acceptable.

You can't do that within the system. Pile ons suck. Particularly when done dishonestly like the one I saw about the darling post, but the solution is still just to block or create block list. Big social networks just can't function like something akin to say dragonmount (a forum from my youth).

No, he has been pretty clear that he thinks the mod team should decide. It is just him missing the forum days where mods would definitely ban a bunch of people who post replies to him. That is unrealistic in our current world, so he should just start blocking people. He is stubborn/dumb so he won't.

That and shit like LED lights (which are the devil) and the decision by car companies to make repair harder in order to save a couple of bucks a vehicle in manufacturing costs. Squeeze out as much profit as possible for the wealthy and punish the poor.

There was no choice a voter could make that would stop the genocide. Voting or not for Kamala or trump had the same impact. Many other issues were at stake. I don't understand how you folks even try to argue otherwise. Obviously the lesser evil between two choices is better. Stop being idiots.

And the failure to vote that way has only had increasingly bad consequences over the past few decades as the repubs have become more and more extreme. Kamala/trump was not a vote on genocide, neither had any intention of stopping the flow of bombs.
