it's indicative of the problem with IGN's formatting where the "most important" part of the review is directly paired with writing that has no space for nuance by design

personally I'm mid on ORAS for a whole host of reasons & wish they'd made a whole lot of changes as a result, but I can also see why people made a joke out of the way it was worded in the part of the review people fixated on

the main critique I saw of that critique was that people saw it as taking points off for being too authentic
like "this remake of gen 3 has too much gen 3 in it. why are all of these fries in this bag"
