Until they release the Epstein files the Dems should just make an ad in every TV station and Youtube playing this clip and showing the redacted files with the XFiles music in the background and zero context

Well there is a difference, in the UK it wouldn't survive a motion to dismiss because it is past the statute of limitations and in the UK court costs would be paid for the losing party. The only reason why they would pay is if it was a bribe.

The Dems really need to take maybe one lesson out of the Trump playbook on this and make it a meme. I'm being serious, like literally start calling him "pedo protector", "Epstein evangelist" and start questioning if he will support more sexual predators like Weinstein as well.

So what he is saying is he is weak, wants the war to end and is assuming that threatening everyone with nukes is the answer.

Good luck, BG3 is one of my favourite games ever, such a great team over there at Larian

People assume there is a need for physical evidence for everything but if you have a mountain of circumstantial evidence it is as compelling. The way I'd say the Epstein stuff looks like it is kind of a cult in a way. The girls were indoctrinated so you aren't going to get evidence that day.

The man had not one but multiple victims and is a lawyer, if he thought it was inconsistent then it is on him to find corroborating facts to support it if there are any. The answers read a lot like someone trying to rationalise allowing Epstein to go free any way he could.

The news though should be followed up by "And we are starting work on planning a second line immediately" but it won't. We have a single extension of a Luas line and the metro on the table now but how you improve is you just never stop but we will as is Irish politics

Would be smart to also encourage air to air systems instead of air to water for newer homes because if you are like me with an A2 the house is an oven during the summer

The fact that some posh prick can own the biggest lake in NI is still baffling to me.

The only steelman argument you can give for data centres is just sovereignty of data because they would physically be located in the country. We are seriously lacking in data privacy though and GDPR doesn't cut it because it is about stuff like the CLOUD act in the US and how they interact legally

I'm still surprised there isn't a specific set of laws around data centres in general. Not just electricity but also about taxation, we have some of the most favourable corp tax but that only makes sense when there is some employment attached to it. Data centres are low value in a bunch of ways

Yeah then it would be fair enough, I think when Park Ji-Sung was at Man Utd he did Park J.S on the jersey.

Small correction for the admin, Seung-soo is his first name but everyone else is listed by their last name. Not sure if it was intended just might be worth changing to Park instead next time.

Ireland did similar with the Luas but after we made the two lines but basically everything is at a standstill since in terms of new developments. They have one of the first extensions planned in years currently in progress for approval but it's actually terribly slow moving for everything

Even if they don't release a part 2 of their just released album it's crazy is my point that the discussion is immediately gathering interest. It is a real lesson in modern media handling and getting natural excitement.

He looks like an umpalumpa

Biggest point is always there is more than one way to achieve a goal. Taking a sledgehammer approach is the US way of politics

The American job postings that tout anything related to gender or ethnicity...etc is actually quite regressive because it changes the perception of people like you are doing them a favour. If I have a black person in my team in Ireland I don't say "oh DEI hire", the position can only be earned
April 25, 2025 at 10:33 AM
To the Americans the way it works in the majority of the EU is you don't give any preference to anyone. Like in Ireland (where I'm from) it is also illegal to discriminate against white men, the default is everything is earned so diversity usually means that person earned that role not was given it
