No problem. What you want is an unsynced pattern containing block bindings that sync up as meta. Create a function to roll out that pattern on every new post in a new post type and you'll have the fields, in situ, within the block editor. :)

Matt is defending the integrity of the community. A vocal minority of sub par developers are angry they decided to go with WordPress Engine, who Matt cut off for various reasons. It's all good though! :)
