In order to support the filming process in my institution, I will delete this video of Grebe dance and will not post any other videos that recorded in my hometown until the end of this year.

Meet House Sparrow 3011-88932 (band number). He is the 6,000th bird we banded on the Rutgers Newark campus (since 2011). As you can see, he was slightly bemused by all the ceremony.

I was finally I reached the rating 12 in #arcaea , a #rhythmgame I played for eight years.
Yesterday I was joking to one of my friends(who is already 12.50 rating in this game) what if happened if I was gain it in April Fool's day.
Now it's happened.

Unfortunately, I was rejected by the grad school I applied to in the 2025 cycle.
I know there are many factors for this year, no matter for myself or the environment, but I will try to continue applying in 2026.

Siberian Crane (白鹤，Leucogeranus leucogeranus) : Critically Endangered worldwide. Most of them are wintering in Jiangxi and it's also the provence(state) bird.
Hooded Crane (白头鹤，Grus monacha)
White-naped Crane (白枕鹤，Antigone vipio)
Common Crane (灰鹤，Grus grus)

It was a great opportunity to present my research in Beijing #AOC2024!! Many people are interested in my topic even though the research on bird-window collision is at an early stage in China.

Excited to see my 100th bird species in China: Red-flanked Bluetail, even though I first met it in NJ, United States.
And the first critically endangered bird species: Siberian Crane! The Poyang Lake at my hometown is one of the important wintering places for them! #bird
