Doing something I swore I’d never do: watching a movie on TCM that came out after I was born. (Prancer. I suppose I could make an exception for Christmas movies?) And, I did watch a silent movie that came out the year my grandfather was born, so, I guess it balances out.

Trying to use the long holiday vacation to see if I can cut myself off from (OTC) sleeping pills, and.. it’s not going great. I’m tired, y’all. But I think I wanna stick with it at least a little while longer.

Sugarland’s Gold and Green is one of my fav Christmas albums ever. And maybe even one of my fav albums period. The originals are *fantastic*, the standard songs have unique arrangements, and it introduced me to Nuttin’ for Christmas.

It’s hard to pack for winter when you only spend approximately 10 days a year in winter weather. I know what kinds of clothes and things I need, but.. I just like forget every time. I don’t remember what winter actually feels like.

What in the world? I just noticed a feature in Spotify called Eat This Playlist, which is basically a game of snake, where you have to eat the album art of the songs on the playlist while it shuffles through snippets of the songs. It’s low key unhinged, and I love it.

I am way too exhausted after this work day (/week/month) to watch the eras tour doc right now (because I want to _really_ watch it), so.. I’m just gonna watch the concert instead tonight.

Everytime I break my “only buy one dessert or sweet treat at a time” rule, I regret it. I only have willpower in the store. (Well.. sometimes.) Once the sweets are in the house (or the office or anywhere I have free access to them), they will promptly be consumed.

Watching Holiday Inn for the fourth time this week. First time I only half watched it. Second time was commentary (and special features.) Third was a somewhat closer watch. Now, giving the colorized version a try. I am.. unsure what I think of colorized old movies.
