Going on 6 months since I decided to get a hysterectomy. I know that doesn't fully cure endometriosis, but it has significantly improved my quality of life.

Last night I found this pic of me. Almost 21 year old Shannon traveling the US. What I thought would bring memories of heart break, brought feelings of gratitude. Not to the asshole who dumped me that is next to me, but for exploring and breaking out of my small world view. I'm proud of this girl.

I got to know the wonderful life PawPaw Keith through a t shirt blanket project. The blanket size was 90x90. Front side was his tshirt pannels sewn together back side was a soft teal blanket. Black satin binding was use to stitch it all together. ❤️ #sewing #design #handmade #homemade #black #teal
