I'm officially a Certified Workshopper Master!

I joined the Workshopper Masters Training Program with AJ& Smart and it was a great experience!

I learned about the laws of facilitation, how to plan and run virtual and in-person workshops and made a few friends in the process!

I had to give myself some “truth time” and accept these unrealistic goals I’ve set has been more harmful than helpful; causing stress and discouragement.

Smaller, incremental, progressive goals is going to be my new approach.

I swear our business unit retreat has drained every bit of life force I had! I literally took a 2 hour nap as soon as I got home. Why do companies insist on torturing introverts like this! Smh

I’ve reached a place in my life where I prefer to get practical business advice from people who are just a few steps ahead of me.

The season of listening to “gurus” is done…my experience has been that they’re out of touch with the newbie journey and can’t empathize.

Counting down the days to when I will no longer have to go into anyone’s office. This week is my team’s quarterly retreat and I’m always super stressed about commuting to DC😭

My boss was at the Women Conf last week. Less than 5% of CEOs are female. Noted less an issue of male dominance and more an issue of imposter syndrome. Women do not reach out unless conditions are nearly perfect. They take less changes to reach for those roles. IDK
You should market your book.

I wrote a book in 2022 and have failed miserably to market it and promote it. In reflecting on why, I realized it came down to social conditioning. I would literally feel embarrassed to talk about my book, even after my boss bought copies for my team, that still wasn’t enough…smh

I just have to say that I dread and look forward moving at the same time. It’s such a love-hate situation right now

My 8 week journey of learning about Work Motivation and Job Attitudes has come to an end this week.

Although challenging, it was such an enjoyable experience!

I now only have 2 more classes before I complete my M.S. program in Industrial-Organizational Psychology with University of Phoenix.🎉

The one thing I like about becoming a soloprenuer vs being an employee is my ability to grow as fast as I want.

A job tends to box you in and slow you down…raises once a year, the “stay in your lane mentality and wait your turn doesn’t feel right for me anymore.

Absolutely. Flexibility is a must for healthy balance.
It should always be about balance, you need to find the one that works for you, and sometimes that balance can shift depending on internal and external factors.
