Puffin loved going on adventures but there was nothing quite like coming home.
She’d been away for a while and, as she finally made her way home, she was feeling fabulous. A feeling of comfort, safety, and quiet excitement all at the same time. It couldn’t be matched.

This is the road leading up to my allotment! It's a bit soggy & I am not sure that the sprout plants are able to swim that well.

From grey skys last week, to a glorious blue sky today.

It's distressing to see so many pumpkins wasted. Admittedly, carving pumpkins are quite watery and tasteless. But there is a way: roast-everything soup. Roast pumpkin, potatoes, onions and garlic, then blend it all. It concentrates the flavour. It's delicious.

What a difference, this was November last year. Where has the sunshine gone?
