I don't see the relevance of him being a veteran, or growing up poor etc - those facts have nothing to do with deporting a woman who has been in this country for almost 50 years - but I think that's why he supported Trump - because he thought being a white veteran meant that he would be protected.

My mom and one of her brothers got diptheria when they were kids. My mom recovered and lived into her 90s. Her brother died. In childhood. From a disease that can now easily be prevented.

Had the same response and showed up at my MAGA rep's office to complain that I didn't want to die if the cancer recurred because of the Trump administration's sadism - not that my congressman cares. And per my oncologist cancers like uterine and ovarian are treated worse - they're considered DEI

On a walk once I saw a driver trying to wait for a group of turkeys to get out from in front of his car instead of just driving slowly to scoot the turkeys. The turkeys, of course, couldn't have cared less. So I just walked right up to the turkeys and scooted them out of the way.

That is a major reason why I have never gotten a tattoo. In nursing school I once took care of an elderly woman with tattoos and they did not look good. But if it gets you to exercise it's good!
