We support the report's recommendations around better collection and analysis of homeless deaths, as well as an independent enquiry by the MHCLG and Department for Education into child deaths in Temporary Accommodation.

Devastating new data from @ourmoh.bsky.social shows 11 children experiencing homelessness died in the UK in 2024. Six of them were under the age of 5, and the total figure is likely to be an underestimate.
