Hi Roses, Gus the guinea pig had surgery on Wednesday, to take away his balls and let him cuddle his pretty neighbour pig all he wants. It all went well and he’s been popcorning beside her this weekend. May you have all Gus’ positivity and happiness.

I spent the day rebuilding the cage so Pootle wouldn’t be in his face, but Rogue could be his neighbour. I also needed to give Rogue some extra running space and put in a ramp for her.
They seem to be happily interacting through the bars so far.
Fingers crossed everybody likes the new set up.

I had a Himalayan as a kid. He was a sweetheart. One of only three guinea pigs in my life that has been a licker. Yours looks like they have ways to win you over too!

It’s not the only sound they make. They can squeak like a whistle sounding to demand food. They have a muttery squeak when walking around. They chatter when getting aggressive with each other. I’ve had one chirp once, at Christmas decorations on the ceiling. I know an unhappy sounding piggie.

From every guinea pig I’ve had, that sound means “stop”

An episode I’ve probably never watched, yet as soon as I saw the swimsuit I knew everything that was going to happen, and could hear Roses’ jokes in my head!
