That's actually insane. Seriously. England is smaller than the state I live in (mapfight image attached for scale) and yet I could get on a train from Melbourne to Sydney & back--twice the distance than Newcastle to London--for under AU$200. AUD, which is worth about half what the pound is worth. 🤯

Full text follows: Name: Kalamansi Pronouns: she/her Species: Kremling (crocodile) About: A basic enemy from a desert-themed level in the original Donkey Kong Country—or would have been, if those levels had existed and not been scrapped at the concept stage. She has above-average intelligence for a Kremling (which is not saying much), but is more cowardly and less warlike than most Kremlings, and wishes their mad king would stop picking fights with monkeys so that she could have some peace in which to pursue her favourite pastime: sleeping in the sun. In gameplay, she would be asleep and harmless until the player woke her, at which point she would charge in a single direction, with a ridiculous running gait similar to a frill-necked lizard. Description: Kalamansi is a young adult female of average height and a somewhat athletic build. She has orange and yellow scales, with green spines on her head, lower back and tail. Her clothes are vaguely “army”-themed, like all Kremlings in DKC, so her shorts have a desert camouflage pattern to match her habitat. Her shirt has a skull and crossbones design on the back, similar to many of the N64-era Kremling designs. Despite her fondness for naps, when she is awake she has surprisingly boundless energy—to an almost annoying degree—and loves sports and physical activity. One of her pastimes is looking for interesting rocks, and she enjoys eating bananas, but they upset her stomach. She thrives in hot weather, but can’t handle the cold at all, becoming sluggish, unhappy and unmotivated. She has a laid-back and cheerful demeanour, and is more inclined to run than fight.
