ABC, Falkirk, beautiful art deco cinema, 3 screens - 1 the former balcony, other 2 formed from the stalls. Had to queue up outside (2+3 to the left of the picture, 1 towards the bus). I saw so many films there from Star Wars through to Pulp Fiction.Was turned into a nightclub #childhoodcinema

I'll need to remember that one. At primary school we gave one of the carols a local, Central Scotland ring by renaming and singing it as "A Wean in a Manger"

more comfortable too, we got actual seats, whereas everyone not involved in the nativity was cross-legged on the hall floor with the parents in seats behind, only had to do that once when I was in Primary 2

Ours was cast from Primary1-3, so in P1 I was the stable boy (on floor beside crib with fluffy lamb, kept breaking fourth wall by waving at folk). P3 I had ascended to the role of Archangel Gabriel. After that P4-7, played descant recorder then treble recorder for the carols during the nativity

yep "Scalped". Totally love crown court, Just have to hear "Distant Hills" and I'm whisked back to watching it at my Grannys accompanied with a big bowl of homemade soup and a banana sandwich to keep me quiet while my gran watched it religiously

My favourite bit of Crown Court trivia, one episode was written by Cliff from Cheers. John Ratzenberger co-wrote an ep in 1978 as he was based in the uk at the time, along with fellow US actor Ray Hasset (who played the cop killed by Luthor in Superman). It stars William Hootkins and John Bird
