No you're remembering correctly, I think his sister goes after Lara and then they look for his grave (?) and talk about how much he meant to them.

Yeah at first it was a bit of a shock to have another playable character, but after I saw the second part of the game I warmed up to him too 😁

Tbh I was kinda annoyed at a "stinky boy in my Lara game" when I was a teen, but now I really appreciate that they made him stand out in the looks/design department compared to the usual "white male with short brown hair wearing GAP's autumn collection" 😂

But the fact they weren't able to finish the product as intended was a faaar bigger issue imo than any of the changes they wanted to make.

Tbh it did seem like a bad idea at the time, but then the rest of the franchise happened, so in retrospect I'm much kinder. Also they were trying to launch a second franchise with him in the lead, so doing a soft launch via existing ip is usually a good move.

Same. Some fandoms have just not migrated here at all. Also the userbase seems to be mostly US.
