Ironically, it is looking like the tanker was owned by a Russian Oligarch, and that we accidentally seized one of the boats Russia was using to dodge Ukraine sanctions because it was too close to Venezuela.

There also seems to have been genuine white flight from the fighting game community. At least for the younger crowd. When I went to the Gamestop release event for SF6, I realized that the only other white guy there was also old enough to have remembered playing on a machine at a gas station.

You will find there are a lot of wordcels in tech. I was a history major. It turns out one of the few places that pays you to know how to dig through records and indexes for answers is tech support, which back when I started was still the start of the sys admin pipeline.

On a similar note, in college, due to a housing issue, I ended up spending a year in the international student dorm. I was shocked how many of them thought there was no racism in their home countries due to rampant segregation. "How can we be racist to people we refuse to interact with."

My crank take is that Space Marines should not be a faction in a total war scale game, and should instead be an elite unit for Guard or other Imperial factions.

You know what, I will outright posit that the main reason Wing is so loved in the USA, is because Cartoon Network sabotaged UC continuity in the states by pushing CCA first, with no context to go with it.

I have heard a lot about how most of the writing process was one guy having terrible ideas, and everyone else in the room shouting him down. Said guy is apparently also responsible for the sequel novels that everyone in the fandom that reads them, instantly disowns them.

Even still, Mike still wins, due to those being set well after the deaths of the children whom Amuro hoped would see a world without Federation or Zeon forces. One of those children even dies in the wars to come.

I get this, there was a guy I went to elementary and middle school with with ADHD bad enough he will never be able to live independently. Like, if you talk to him, and don't know the history of his diagnosis, the first word that would pop into your head is "meth." And that is on medication.

I would also argue they are massively overstating the ammount of commission work that exists. Like, most gen AI art work I see people engaging in is mostly things like replacing using google image search for something that looks like their D&D character. That was never going to be a paid commission.
