From getting rid of buttons to introduce gesture based navigation, to putting new buttons for the sake of it. Apple has truly lost the plot with hardware and software design. Absolutely clueless.

Simons offers greater potential while Eze is a known quantity in the league. Can’t go wrong with either — ultimately comes down to which one’s financially feasible.

I think he gives us options to line up differently - can play LW, LCM, and RCM. One metric where he instantly provides a much needed upgrade is Self-Created Shot %. Also great coming off the bench, especially when chasing a game.

Surprised to not see Grealish at Villa on this list

Eh, he’s rich man’s Allan Saint-Maximin (no offence to either).

Doku is anything but consistent. Marmoush is good but nothing to write home about. RAiN is good offensively but question marks on his fitness + defensive acumen. City haven’t done anything to address their biggest weakness from last season. They will leak goals, so not their last 5-2 as Billy said.

The R-square value is quite small to deem it as a direct correlation imo. Generally speaking, players who score lots of goals tend to miss lots of big chances but players who miss lots of big chances may not score lots of goals.

£250k per week and almost a £200m commitment over 5 years for a player who hasn’t played more than 26 full-90min. games in a season across his career is a massive risk, albeit with an equally massive reward/upside.

But certainly not a great deal by any stretch of the imagination.

Southampton being Southampton, rest all top right teams play out from the back, which usually presents an opportunity for interceptions leading to errors resulting in shot on target.

A classic case of correlation doesn’t imply causation, and more of a case of third variable causing it.
