Ōtautahi Aotearoa
Elizabeth, I clicked into that link, then through to the Bird+ Beach link on bottom right. This screenshot is what happened.
And note the comma in there: www.birdandbeach,co.nz

Also, great to see on the web front that you understand our country’s cultural mores so well.

Wonderful work @taniawaikatolawyer.bsky.social and Chris the map-cruncher are doing.
But I am so very sad for this part of Ōtautahi: there seems to be so few schools here, in one of the wealthiest parts of the city! What DO they do with their children???
Or perhaps this tells another story.

House wasn’t there, neither were the unknown people when snapped. Somehow they arrived, doing unknown things

Consistently amazed by the detail this camera and lens reveals. Focus needs work 😂

Turned 65, looked at life + realised that for five years I had been sorely missing a life-long love: camera way too heavy after back + shoulder injury. I thought it was over.
Friend told me of micro four-thirds. I fell in love: it fits in my hand 💚
Much to learn - and love that about it too.

It is not done yet Christchurch: keep both eyes open for the next few days. That wind is still high, and the gusts are rugged.

Trees have had a sustained battering this week, and they will drop branches in the days to come.

Gnarly old pines on the estuary fringe hold on while seawater attacks their roots.
This area of land sank a metre or more in the 2010-11 quake sequence. It’s like seeing 100 years of sea-level rise instantly.
