Probably just a disenfranchised loner/crazy with a hunting background -- but, looking at the timing and context, who has the most to gain from this? Who has already demonstrated multiple times that killing others to distract/push agendas is totally in bounds? This all feels/smells orchestrated.

And Epstein was almost certainly wrapped up in state intelligence networks (Mossad, CIA) with the necessary exposure highlighting the levels of complicity and corruption present in state sponsored manipulation campaigns. A gross indictment of those involved but also the systems that enabled it.
