Absolutely reprehensible that AG Bondi is offering ICE stand down in exchange for access to voting rolls. Outrageous and disgusting. It shows ICE is in Minneapolis is not for law enforcement purposes. Instead it’s a way to stir up shit in blue states and extort them.
In the wake of another fatal shooting in Minneapolis.
AG Pam Bondi sends Gov. Walz a letter today making several asks including:
"Allow DOJ Civil Rights division access to state voter rolls"

I am a huge Buckeye fan, but I am not buying these "Way too early 2026 rankings" that place Ohio State in the top 5.

I need to see proof that out D Line and O Line have been transformed. They were too often manhandled when it mattered most.

Until I see that I will be suspicious.

There are roughly 8 AP voters who need to have their vote revoked for '26-'27.

You should not get a vote if you are assigning any vote to Missouri.

They did not beat a single P4 team with a winning record. Their wins were over opponents with a combined 30-67 record.

Remove their vote now!

Duke is obviously going to lose Mensah... a judge isn't going to let universities literally own the body of a player, but they might get a really nice payment on top of their $4m from Mensah.

They could also be petty and argue they own Mensah's NIL rights, and Miami can't use it in any media/promo

Carson Beck throwing a bad pick is a fitting end to his college football story and Miami's season.

Indiana 31 - 17 Miami

I hope I am wrong, and this game is much tighter at the end for entertainment purposes, but Indiana feels unstoppable if Mendoza is on his A game.

What on earth was DJ Moore doing?

I’m not going to put that one all on Caleb.

Did Moore just think it wasn’t coming so he stopped running… which wouldn’t be the first time?

Did Moore have a mid route brain fart and forget where he as supposed to go?

What a rough way to end your season.

The Bills biggest issue is that, outside of a small group of players, they are bang average to below average at everything else... top to bottom.

I wouldn't immediately fire McDermott... but I would punt the GM and scouting team into oblivion. Their roster building is not up to the level needed.

Gavin Newsome getting cucked by Ben Shapiro is genuinely hilarious.

It's such a perfect example of the worst type of D politician. Believes in nothing, thinks conservatives will vote for them if they pander enough, and exists to serve wealthy business owner.

Newsome just comes off as so weak.

Is Miami about to rip Mensah away from Duke? Who else could have convinced him to enter the portal at the last second?

Clearly he wasn't originally planning to leave, or why else leave it until the last day or two?

Miami is a bit desperate since they don't recruit their future starters from HS.

Maria Machado is such a fascinating character.

I can't take seriously a person who runs to the side of a fascist in her moment of need. You can't tell me that democracy matters to you and then kneel before Trump.

Is she a champion of democracy... or is she is an opportunist seeking power?

What a huge win for my Blue Jackets tonight. Three in a row and they actually looked like the better team for most of the night.

Was Evason really telling them to sit back 24/7? Suddenly they look much more aggressive, composed, and confident.

The off the puck pressure is better. WTF happened?
January 16, 2026 at 8:44 AM
Was Ty Simpson going to get replaced at Alabama if he stayed?

It really feels like he was worried that he would be benched if he stayed, or at least was playing with that fire if he did.

His camp's statement acted like only two options existed - transfer or declare. Where was return to 'Bama?

Few things make me happier more than watching Jim Harbaugh wear his "wow it's a lot harder when I don't have a collection of felons and cheaters by my side" face.

I'm sure a few more whimsical musings about Shakespearian worms will get him a playoff win.
January 12, 2026 at 9:11 AM
I love the NFL playoffs so much. Insanity is assured. Entertainment is plentiful. Fan freak outs and questionable takes are thrown around with reckless abandon.

What a wonderful time of the year.
January 11, 2026 at 8:51 AM
Indiana realized that winning college football games doesn't require you having the most eventual NFL talent up and down your roster.

They have the best coach, best QB, and a bunch of really good, experienced college football players.

This isn't an NFL talent stacked team and it's a good formula
January 10, 2026 at 8:54 AM
Carson Beck is that type of QB who you constantly want to upgrade on, yet somehow they keep winning and you don't actually have a good excuse beyond just feeling like they aren't good enough.

You're right, of course, but it takes ages to prove it and you might accidentally win a title.

Flacco...

The committee needs to start punishing SEC teams whose biggest wins are simply against other SEC teams. They need to stop with the "good losses" when it is an SEC team losing to an SEC team whose biggest wins are against other SEC teams who are ranked because they have good losses against SEC teams.
January 9, 2026 at 9:10 AM
Greg Sankey has done an amazing job of creating a narrative about the SEC that is not reflected in reality.

The CFP committee, the AP voters, and most media members genuinely think that SEC teams beating SEC teams means they are good.

It's incestuous by design because it's rewarded.
January 9, 2026 at 9:04 AM
Someone needs to teach the Miami defenders how to actually complete an interception.

Chambliss should have ended that game with at least three, probably four, and the final score should have been a double digit win.

The better team won.

Also... stop ejecting guys for that type of targeting.

The US is experiencing the culmination of over 150yrs of no accountability for people in positions of power.

We have created a country where power grants you the belief that you have no restrictions based on the assumption of no punishment.

It started by not hanging Confederate leaders for treason

If the US holds Venezuela, we will seize 17% of oil -- yesterday's technology. If China uses this precedent to take Taiwan, it will own 60% of semiconductors -- tomorrow's technology. See what happens when you elect evil & stupid at the same time?

I did not see United sacking Amorim today.

I feel the same way I did about most post-SAF managers at this time during their tenure... I was not yet asking for the sack. I accept that the players are > 50% to blame... but also stop making odd, bad decisions and then doubling down.
January 6, 2026 at 9:18 AM
The Steelers-Ravens game was a perfect example how entertaining football doesn't have to be high level, elite team football.

That was the perfect game to end the regular season, and I cannot believe anyone was mad that that was the Sunday night game.

All gas, no brakes chaos.

I assume Saudi Arabia is next... right after our leaders return from kneeling to them?

- Funds terrorism
- Has murdered Americans
- Dictator who has opponents tortured and killed
- Extreme oppression against certain groups
- Literally no democracy at all, not even a fake one
- Has a shit ton of oil
