It’s taken 4 years, a fully elevated garden bed, a protective cage, repositioning the bed a couple times, and several companion planting/soil amendment experiments, but I FINALLY have produced strawberries that would look at home in a grocery store. Worth. It.

Got some plants in the ground today and updated my garden plan accordingly. I’ll be adding winter squash and more beans around the corn and I’m debating some hot peppers to shove between the eggplant and the trellis.
