Hey! @calbucci.bsky.social wrote a book and I can’t wait to check it out. His insights from the startup world and from his time at Amazon — all about what makes a repeatable innovation system. Even more fun to read a book written by somebody I know and admire.

Hi everyone! I see most of my old and new friends over 👋🏼

Also, this is me seeing the sun for the first time since October. From 43 degree gray Seattle to sunny 85 degree Sayulita, Mexico.

Forget movies over the holiday week. Looks like Bluesky is all the entertainment you need.

400+ years after the "First Thanksgiving" most Americans have no idea that the Wampanoag people are still here. My tribe, the Aquinnah Wampanoag, is on Martha's Vineyard and we're still fighting for our land and rights. We’re also doing some cool stuff. 🧵👇 if you’d like to learn more & support us

This morning I saw a deer, an owl and a superhero in the yard. Saturday morning vibes over here.

Not a bad way to end the day nestled in the trees, sun, and peacefulness of Whidbey Island.

I’m on a boat… for orca whale research today in the San Juan Islands. We got a close up visit from one of the more famous orcas, “Chainsaw” T63. He got the name bc of the big notches in his dorsal fin.

Twelve years ago I was in a comfy role at a Fortune 100 co. & during a 1:1 my boss candidly told me that he thought I’d outgrown my role. Bizarre to hear that from a boss but he was right. The next week I quit and joined an AI startup (Decide.com). Sometimes you just need a little nudge.
